In the end, she started writing her own music. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother had told her the songs she composed could be used to not gain fame for her rather to help people to realize the importance of their work and influence on this world, she started playing them on stage. As a young girl, she began to play the piano and at nine, started writing songs. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. The singer says that she simply likes creating songs. The music she composes is how she feels about any thing.
